Location Ideas
We liked the idea of using Gentleman's walk in the center of Norwich because it is a heavily busy and bustling place due to the market and many highstreet stores. The busy street will be filled with people walking through, contrasting with James who will be standing completely still, giving the impression of isolation, like in Leftfield's Afrika Shox music video.
We found a lovely bridge not that far from Anglia Square which would be good for reflective shots of the river and voyeuristic, extreme close ups.
As we were looking for possible locations to shoot our music video, we walked towards Elm Hill. We liked the cobbled streets because it gave it an eary feeling and we could use good voyeuristic shots with vanishing points, like those in the film 'The Third Man', where the streets represent that of a concrete maze, and a sense of being isolated and lost, which is an element we are trying to represent in our video. James is searching constantly for Alice, the girl that is a figment of his imagination.
